I will be telling you about Christiaan Huygens, calculus, Anton Van Leeuwenhoek, and Isaac Newton.
Christiaan Huygens studied light for a long time. He studied the sun for almost ten years! After that ten years he made the double slit. The double slit was a box with a cut in it that had a sliver in the middle of the cut. In the box there would be dots with color on them.
Calculus is a branch of mathematics concerned with instantaneous rates of change and the summation of infinitely many small factors.
Anton Van Leeuwenhoek made his own microscope. He discovered microscopic organisms and bacteria. He also made a super strong telescope and discovered the rings of Saturn.
Issac Newton was very interested in physics and he saw how the moon orbits the earth and the sun, and how the earth orbits the sun as well.
My fav chapter books are Zoey and Sassafras and Diary of a Pug
